*This is a Temporary Position for 4-6 months beginning in November 2009. This position has the opportunity to be an Internship for the qualified candidate.

Summary: Provide support to manage risk for Meta Payment Systems derived from third party relationships.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Perform background investigations on all prospective clients and third parties
  • Communicate with business units and third parties to obtain needed information to perform evaluations, at relationship inception and ongoing
  • Assist with completion of due diligence reports and ongoing reviews as needed
  • Maintain all third party records
  • Demonstrates personal commitment to excellence in service to customers and other employees
  • Maintains complete confidentiality with all bank business
  • Portrays leadership by exhibiting confidence in self and others, effectively influences actions and opinions of others, accepts feedback from others, and gives appropriate recognition to others
  • Supports and embraces bank values
  • Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:  This job has no supervisory responsibilities.                    

Education and/or Experience: Enrolled in / obtained a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or 4 years credit or risk management experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Mathematical Skills:  Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.  Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.

Reasoning Ability:  Must have the ability to solve practical problems and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.  Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be prepared to perform significant portions of their work in a computer based work environment.  They should have experience with:

  • Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
