FT Customer Service Representative (Highland Park) Department: Highland Park 30 Description
Summary: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Cashes checks and pays out money after customer identity, authorized signers and customer available balances. Enters customers' transactions into computer to record transactions, and issues computer generated receipts. Places holds on accounts for uncollected funds, when necessary. Orders daily supply of cash, and counts incoming cash. Maintains balances currency, coin, and checks in cash drawer at end of shift and compares totaled amounts with data displayed on computer screen. Answers customer questions and investigates and corrects errors, following established records and rules. Product knowledge must be at a level that the CSR can sell any service offered by the bank and supports bank deposit, lending, trust and securities, and insurance business through referrals to appropriate department. Participates in all office marketing and sales projects which include personal contacts, telephone sales, direct mail and promotions. Develops and applies sales and service skills as a result of various training and continuing education programs provided by the marketing department. Actively prospects, targets, qualifies, presents, and closes sale. Follows up on referred leads from other departments and personnel. May open new accounts. Conducts all duties in a manner that is complimentary to overall Bank image and objectives and supports the Bank's commitment to excellence.
