BSA/AML Program Administrator Department: Legal 470 Description

Summary: The BSA/AML Program Administrator is responsible for administering the company’s BSA/AML program and OFAC compliance in accordance with the approved policy, laws, regulations, and best business practices. Maintain bank and agent compliance with applicable laws and regulations. This position will be responsible for specific business lines within Meta Payment Systems, including but not limited to Prepaid, Credit, ATM, Bill Payment, and Money Transfer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Build, manage and enhance positive relationships with all agents and program managers within all MPS business lines • Works with new and existing clients to complete agency registration and provide support • Educate third parties on BSA/AML and OFAC regulations and MPS best practices, through training sessions such as live and recorded webinars • Ensures that all necessary documentation is completed and on file • Assist in developing comprehensive procedures and line of business procedures regarding BSA/AML compliance. • Assist with the corporate BSA/ AML Risk Assessment process for assigned line of business. • Develops or directs the development of MIS reports for reporting BSA/AML compliance and Agent Management to management and the Board. • Work with business lines to implement and support BSA/AML initiatives, provide business lines with necessary support including training and process documentation. • Provide assistance in development of new products and services to ensure requirements of the BSA are met. • Provide audit and testing function of Program Manager and Agent activities as they relate to the provisions of the Bank Secrecy Act. • Work with and provide information to regulatory agencies, consultants and auditors. • Assist in conducting suspicious activity investigations, using discretion in elevating concerns to appropriate levels of personnel, preparing SARs, and maintaining documentation. • Escalate any non-cooperative or non-compliant employees and/or third parties to appropriate management. • Build, manage and enhance positive relationships with all business lines within MPS • Solicits new business and participates in community or other service programs to develop goodwill. • Identifies customers' needs and presents products and services that meet those needs. Completes sales transactions or refers customers to appropriate bank associates. • Accomplishes these duties while following bank policies and procedures. • Makes consistent cross selling efforts with customers in the office on a daily basis. • Demonstrates personal commitment to excellence in sales and service to customers and other employees. • Actively participates in the bank's Performance Management System. • Supports and embraces bank values. • Maintains complete confidentiality with all bank business. • Demonstrate customer service by managing difficult or emotional customer situations, responding promptly to customer needs, soliciting customer feedback for improvement and responding to requests for service and assistance. • Other duties may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Other Skills and Abilities: • Demonstrated management and leadership ability • Strong attention to detail and decision making skills • Basic understanding of financial services industry, association rules, banking regulations and operating procedures, and processor systems • Basic understanding of the requirements of the Bank Secrecy Act and USA PATRIOT Act • Basic ability to train others on Bank requirements

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:Must have the ability to solve practical problems and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be prepared to perform significant portions of their work in a computer based work environment. They should have experience with: • Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and Outlook
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
